The tire is undoubtedly one of the most important components of our scooters. It provides the contact with the road and is therefore responsible not only for safety but also quite significantly for the driving pleasure. The goal was to develop a tire with which you can iron in the wet as well as in the dry through curves and traffic circles! That paired with the speed clearance required for todays engine concepts, left only one way open: a complete new development!
For the driving behaviour of a tire, two things are crucial: the rubber compound and the structure of the tire. The BGM tyres are designed here without any compromise and produced in Germany. All innovations of the last years in tire technology have been incorporated into our tyres. The specially tuned material compound with high silica compound provides excellent grip in dry and wet conditions. The extremely stable carcass ensures perfect straight-line running and excellent line stability during brisk cornering. Typically, tyres are made from a layer of rubber simply pressed into shape. The BGM tyres are much more complex in production and consist of several layers to create the perfect tire that meets the highest requirements and has the highest speed rating on the market.
