70cc Cast iron cylinder kit from Naraku for liquid cooled Peugeot scooters with the horizontal engine.
The Naraku piston is supplied with a molybdenum coating which protects both cylinder and piston during the running in process, this coating usually dissolves after time.
This cylinder is suitable for use with original and performance exhaust systems, this kit is ideal for everyday use with significant power gains on acceleration.. If using the original carburettor you will need to up jet approx 7-10% but we do recommend using a 17.5 - 19mm carburettor for optimum performance.
Supplied as per image with barrel, piston, pin, clips, rings, and gaskets. Original cylinder head can be used.
Please note, with the TSDI, you will need to use the original rubber head gasket and not the metal gasket.
Important Disclaimer Notice: When fitting the 70cc kits you must turn the engine over by hand to ensure the piston does not hit the cylinder head, this can occasionally be an issue when using the kit with the stock cylinder head, should this happen you would need to use 1 or 2 additional base gaskets (SKU: NK155.36) or of course use the Naraku 70 cylinder head (SKU: NK103.02). We will not be responsible for any resultant damage should the engine be run and the squish not checked first.
