The complete clutch throttle lever for Aprilia RS4 features an inner PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) sliding sleeve. The high self-lubricating properties of the PTFE material allow a durable and lightweight sliding operation without additional lubrication.
PTFE cables never need lubricating as they cause swelling in the sliding surface material and this destroys the cable.
